VAPORLEAF will be closing it's doors on September 7th 2019. SAVE 50% OFF on everything until then. It has been 9+ years of fighting the good fight, we're exhausted. Also we will be re-stocking our own Vaporleaf Vape Juice Daily and should be getting in some brands of coils early next week.
Clearomizers are low-powered vape tanks typically designed for Mouth-To-Lung (MTL) style draws similar to the way that you would puff on a cigarette. They produce small to modestly sized clouds without too much heat.
Disposable VS Replaceable: Disposable clearomizers have built-in coils and need to be replaced ever 1-3 weeks. After this time, the whole tank is thrown out and must be replaced with a new one. This is as straight forward as vaping gets. Rebuildable clearomizers need to have the coil head replaced every 1-3 weeks. This style is able to be taken apart and just the coil head can be replaced. This style saves money in the long run because you just replace the coil head, not the entire tank.
Top Coil VS Bottom Coil:
The difference is just that! With a top coil clearomizer, the coil head sits at the top of the clearomizer near the mouthpiece. You will be able to see the wicks running down along the inside of the tank. A bottom coil vape tank holds the coil head down in the base of the clearomizer towards the battery. The wicks are much shorter and you typically cannot see them from the outside of the tank. Gravity helps to keep your bottom coils primed, so you don't have to "tilt and roll" to keep your wick and coil wet like you need to with a top coil.
Capacity of eJuice will vary from brand to brand and tank to tank. Here you will find tanks that will hold anywhere from 1ml to 5ml of eJuice.
Ohms: This is a measurement of resistance on the coil. The Rule: The lower the ohm, the hotter the vape. Lower resistance will heat up faster, however, it will not be able to withstand a lot of heat for a long period of time, or the coil may fail. So you want to be mindful of what you set your voltage on your battery to (if you're using variable voltage batteries). The higher the ohm, the more resistance there is on the coil. This means you can easily turn your voltage up to acquire the warmer vape, and it can withstand the hotter temperature for a longer period of time without the coil failing. What resistance you run is a personal preference. It depends on how you prefer to vape as to what ohm resistance you will prefer.
