This coil is the Clapton variation of the 0.5 ohm coil and has a recommended wattage range of 15 to 45 watts. The wattage recommendation may be a bit lower than the standard 0.5 SSOCC coil, but that doesn’t mean this one is a slouch.

Clapton coils contain a lot more metal than a traditionally wrapped coil, meaning it takes a little while longer to heat up and can get a bit warmer than standard coils do. Those slight drawbacks are offset by the fact that Clapton coils heat a larger surface area of the cotton, meaning you’ll get more vapor and tremendous flavor at the same wattage. They also retain heat better, so once you ramp the coil up to the wattage you want to vape at with your first hit, the subsequent hits will take no time at all to heat up. If you want vapor production and a good warm vape, give this coil a shot with some 70VG/30Pg vape juice.
